Founder Yvon Chouinard recently announced that all the company’s profits will go into saving the planet, spearheading a new example in environmental corporate leadership. The company has always pledged to support community-led efforts to champion fossil-fuel-free businesses and protect nature. “As of now, Earth is our only shareholder,” Patagonia announced. All profits, in perpetuity, will go to our mission to ‘save our home planet’. Pledging to radically reduce carbon emissions through the way they make their products, Patagonia supports the fighting against oil drilling, to take action on the most pressing environmental issues facing our world. Patagonia is also dedicated to giving grants to organisations that identify the root causes of environmental problems.

Channelling a sincere interest in intelligent and sustainable design, Aesop strives to extend these values into every aspect of its workings. They have recently reached carbon neutrality across their global business, obtaining South Pole’s Climate Neutral Company label. Before there were any bans on such practices for cosmetics around the world, they have been staunchly opposed to animal testing of any kind with all their products made from responsibly sourced ingredients with all their ingredients being vegan.
